Our luxury cottages - The Hitching Rail and The Opera House - are architect-designed and beautifully appointed. Set apart from the homestead and each other, they offer space, privacy and freedom.
Wood heaters keep winter nights snug and outdoor settings take advantage of balmy summer days. The cottages are air-conditioned.
The Hitching Rail
The Hitching Rail is a one-bedroom cottage set among cypress pines, yellow box and stringy barks and has a natural garden of wild flowers and granite. Its name is hitched to an old fencing rail beside the cottage, bordering an outdoor terrace. The bedroom features a queen-sized bed and en-suite. The bedroom and a cosy living area overlook the private garden. The Hitching Rail has a straw bale wall that forms an attractive interior feature.

Each cottage has a CD player, wood heater, air conditioning, microwave oven and cooking facilities. Showers run hot and strong and all linen and towels are supplied.

The Opera House
The Opera House has distinctive roof lines and an upper floor balcony and blends with the natural bush. It has two bedrooms and is suitable for two couples or a family. The bedrooms are on separate levels, creating space and a sense of separation. A shared bathroom is on a level in between. The master bedroom has an expansive view of the mountains. It has a queen-sized bed and a built-in wardrobe. The second bedroom has two large single beds. A granite hill forms part of a private, natural garden. Stylish French doors open to an outdoor setting on a natural plateau.
Beverley Vineyard Restaurant
Always entertaining is our motto and we aim to please. Come and dine in 19th century grandeur. John & Denice specialise in European fine cuisine and degustation meals matched to Whiskey Gully's own wines. John will often select a guitar from his collection and entertain guests with songs from his extensive repertoire.
The restaurant is open on Saturday nights for a fabulous 6 course degustation meal with a matching wines option and live entertainment. We also accept lunch and dinner functions of eight people or more. Dinner meals are available through the week for our cottage guests. Please note that we require guests to make reservations and choose meals in advance.
For weddings and large functions we utilise Beverley's extensive gardens. Please contact our event consultant.
