4, this reserve Chardonnay was given royal treatment in new French oak
hogsheads.
With flavours of cumquat
and marmalade accompanying toasty oak, this luscious wine presents a
seamless palate. Just lovely, was the
winemakers’ consensus. Good cellaring should see
the wine improve for four years or more. An excellent food match,
try it with poached salmon, smoked cheeses or go all the way and
prepare lobster thermidor!
